Human Development Index of Melawi Regency 2024

The Human Development Index is an indicator of the achievement of community quality of life development measured based on three basic dimensions, namely the dimensions of longevity and healthy living, knowledge, and decent living standards. The dimensions of longevity and healthy living are represented by the Life Expectancy (UHH) indicator at birth. The knowledge dimension is represented by the Expected Years of Schooling (HLS) and Average Years of Schooling (RLS) indicators. The decent living standard dimension is represented by the adjusted per capita expenditure indicator.
The Central Statistics Agency of Melawi Regency has compiled the Human Development Index (HDI) Publication as an important source of information that can be used in preparing plans related to human development in Melawi Regency. The presentation method is carried out in the form of a simple descriptive analysis using a table and graphic approach to make it easier for users to understand the development of HDI achievements. The data and information presented consist of the human development situation from the results of calculating the HDI amount along with the component indexes and their development.
This publication is expected to be a monitoring and evaluation material for the Regional Government on the development that has been carried out, as well as to identify regional needs for future development.
